On July 21, Lesley and Paul investigated a private residence of a famous historical Joliet resident. Due to the extreme heat we were only able to stay a couple of hours to do a preliminary investigation. The owner had an encyclopedic knowledge of the historical resident. TIP members love to learn the history of the places we investigate. We conducted EVP sessions of the rooms. While in an upstairs bedroom we heard what sounded like someone in the hallway. Lesley and the owner ran out to check and there was no one there. Later, Lesley felt like she was touched twice while upstairs. Then, Paul asked if the spirit would like the current owner to write a book about him and we heard on recordings a voice say "yeah". The EVP will be posted in the near future. This is a very interesting location and we hope to someday do a full investigation.
