The Indiana State Sanatorium

Paul and I arrived at the Indiana State Sanatorium at around 5pm where owner Gregg Larson met us.  Gregg gave us the history of the Sanatorium and explained how he obtained the property.

This is a huge property, with several buildings, (psych ward, office/original tuberculosis hospital, power plant, doctors’ quarters, nursing home, and tunnels).  We spent time on several floors of the psych building and in the nursing home.  Unfortunately, other than some K2 hits and a few words on the Ovilus, we did not have much activity.  It was a cool place to investigate, and I hope to go back there with a bigger group to check out more areas.
